I've Started a Blog!

I've started a blog!
I've been stalking everyone else's craft blogs for the last year and thought it was finally time to start my own...
So that we can get to know each other, here's a little about me...

My name is Heather and I love a good project. It doesn't matter if it's sewing, crafting, cooking, cake decorating, gardening or re-purposing...If it's crafty I'm going to love it! So with this blog there's no telling what your going to get on a daily basis. :0)

I have been married to the Mister for a little over a year.

We were together for 9 years before we finally tied the knot , and I am a mom to 3 wonderful , rambunctious boys.

Ty is 13 he's in the 7th grade,

D is 11 and in the 6th grade,

C is 6 and in the 1st grade.

This year I made the decision to home school my oldest son. It makes me nervous I'm going to screw him up, but so far so good. Someone reminded me that no one will fight harder for their child than their mother, and they are completely correct so I think (and hope)  it's going to be a good experience for both of us...Keep your fingers crossed for us!

A few of my loves are: shoes, joanns coupons, sales, thrift stores, animals, a good soft fitted pair of jeans, the smell of country air, flowers, girly stuff, reading, summertime, Mt. Dew, girls night, cotton candy cosmos, and  thunderstorms.

A few of my hates: Spiders, any kind of creepy crawly really, licorice, root beer, flat tires, people who leave their Christmas lights up year round, tailgaters,  having to use urban dictionary to know what some people mean...use regular English please!, and arguing.

So I guess my goal with this blog is to try new things, meet new people, pass some of my knowledge onto others, and just plain have fun. Hope everyone enjoys :0)

  1. I saw your comment over at I am Momma Hear Me Roar, so I came to check out your new blog. It's a really cute set up. Oh, and I love that you're willing to home school. So many people see that like a swear word and see my child like she has the plague. I can give you a word of advise there: Sometimes when you are home schooling those thoughts creep into your head "Am I really good enough to do this? Is my child really ready to go into the world with what I am teaching them? Can I really do this?" Remember that school is about learning, not about knowing everything, and as long as they are learning you are succeeding. Good Luck!
